  2. Will holding out for NYC Metro Area show be a major regret if they don’t do it or will I be cool just seeing them tour the next record? The hard questions.

At this point, I'm really only interested in going if there is new material as I've seen them 20 times thus far.

According to an interview with BF, he only has about 5-6 new songs and it didn't sound like they would be playing them out. Seems like it's just some shows to get back into it before recording an album later this year.

  6. Yeah I’m feeling more and more like the reunion itself isn’t a necessity for me.

It is but, like, barely and given that people living in NYC usually don't have cars it's a real struggle to get to.

Insider info or just speculating? If insider, can you let me know if the NYC date is seated or GA.

  12. ahahah fine, it's NYer bias but you're never going to catch me calling an hour+ ride on NJT from the city "part of the metro area"

I guess it's similar to how parts of the OC are still "LA-area" but, yeah, a subway ride + train + bus is a fucking haul.

I just don’t understand how multiple people said “the browning, this is a good and totally serious name for a band that no one will openly mock”

  24. On the other hand, ever since my friend's band opened for them in high school, I have never once forgotten that there is a band called The Browning.
