In usual TWA acts, the tour announcement was another European tour. They will now tour with Asking Alexandria in Feb-Mar and then Attila afterwards.

    but does it djent?

Dude I'm so stoked. I'm gonna try to get to this. Ozzy, Korn, Lamb of God, Behemoth, and Meshuggah. I can dig it.

Wondering if this is the only thing Behemoth will be doing in the US or if there's a tour involved.

i'll check it out: probably going to this tour over YBI due to convenience but should be a good time. maybe i can finally talk to dan and thank him for the favor he did me five years ago haha, i never have once been able to see him at a TWY show

  8. Aaron West / Empty Houses / Dryjacket tour should be awesome. Really hope that hits Chicago. I saw Empty Houses play a really tiny bar last year (they ruled) and got to have a really nice conversation with Dave. Glad to see them out on the road more after really liking their album.

The Aaron shows seem to be a better chance to do that than TWY shows where every one of the 1,000 people there want his time.

Hey Violet (signed to 5SOS's record label) announced a North American headlining tour. From sold out amphitheaters last year to 500 capacity clubs.

5SOS signing them didn't work the same way 1D signing 5SOS did, that's for sure.

Well, I'm sure 99% of that audience didn't go for Hey Violet haha. At least they'll have a longer set and if it's true about 5SOS openers, they'll be able to sell their merch at a reasonable price. Now it would've been really interesting to see 5SOS go from amphitheaters to 500 person clubs!

Brilliant move on their end. That had to be awesome double dipping from that tour they both did together.

Aaron West tour is full band and they will be playing their entire catalog

    Morgan

Where did you see their playing their entire discorgraphy?

The Aaron West Twitter account (which I'm assuming is Dan) tweeted "The full band playing the full catalog in these cities for the first time"

Holy shit they're set for awhile! Once the 5SOS well dries up, 1D just has to do a reunion tour. They really are in the driver's seat.

Behemoth could be headlining Summer Slaughter since its around the same time frame, plus they've been heavily requested this year to headline

I am going to assume As It Is won't be doing anything here before Warped Tour. They will be overseas from January to March.

    but does it djent?

Good call, but normally if SS hits a festival all the bands on the tour play it, and I don't see any bands on their day like that.

SS normally starts a week after, but it could be different. I can't really think of any other viable headliners honestly
