I am pretty happy that they announced a summer run (I assumed it would happen) because I won’t be able to make it to Columbus for the show on Friday due to a massive snow / ice storm we are suppose to get so I’ll have to wait until June to see them but that’s fine with me.

I saw this band on the “Lost in a Dream” cycle at the House Of Blues Cleveland (1,400), “A Deeper Understanding” cycle at The Agora Theater (2,200) and now they are playing a 5K shed, I didn’t realize they had grown so much but that is awesome because they are truly incredible band. I think their sounds will fill that amphitheater so fully on a nice summer evening. Lol.

For whatever it's worth, they just played MSG here in New York and the venue was like...2/3 full at best which is super rare for an MSG show. Usually even if a band can only play 2x at a HOB in another major city, many big acclaimed indie acts can fill MSG (past alumn has included Interpol, Alt-J, Sigur Ros, etc.) That being said, I think the giant snowstorm which shut down mass transit on top of omicron discouraged people from coming.

I didn’t know they where playing MSG until I saw it posted it in here. That was when I was like: “wow, they really got that big?” I know NYC big is different then B/C-market big. Sounded like that snowstorm was inane.

I hope they draw well everywhere on these bigger venues because they are so good and deserving.

love 2 design a flyer for a smaller festival and not put the location on it.

Yeah I was thinking about going to the SD show tonight but I just can’t do shows rn because omicron. Bummed since I’ve still never seen SOAD, but I just gotta do what’s best

This feels like a big step up for this fest. If I didn't already have prior commitments this weekend I'd be strongly considering a little weekend trip to Iowa
