Yeah, one big flaw in OC is that despite it being one of the most populated/condensed metro areas, there’s no public transit at all, with the exception of some buses in each city. So driving is really your only option. That’s why I’m usually hesitant to go to shows in LA

Between March 11 & March 26 I'm gonna have tickets to 8 can't miss shows for me (Knuckle Puck, The Wonder Years, Just Friends, Underoath, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Touche Amore, Mayday Parade s/t, Mayday ALIR), & there's still more tours getting announced with shows in NYC/Jersey during that time period. Fuck

Some of these venues are 1000 cap rooms. I know it’s post pandemic touring but DRUGS and SKSK can pull that many people?

 

It's a new spot right next to the fillmore in fishtown - bowling alley with 1,000 cap venue on it. It's legit next door to the fillmore in that same cluster of buildings.

 

I highly doubt that. I say 500-600 tops in bigger markets. The Portland show is 500 and I’d be surprised if it was half full. DRUGS is Craig with fill ins and SKSK was never that big to begin with. I don’t think anyone was calling for a DRUGS reunion at all. It would be cool to see Cove fronting SKSK though.

 

I bet this is why D.R.U.G.S. cancelled their initial tour this year. It probably wasn’t selling so they took this up because they thought SKSK would help bring tickets?

 

Wow. Had no idea. 1k cap?! Gonna be a lot of shows hitting this venue then.

 

The Chicago venue is much bigger than that. I'm all for it, more space to move.

 

That was my impression as well. I don’t think SKSK will help much at all even though I’m slightly interested since I was a fan back in the day and Coves a super nice guy.

 

The Concord will maybe be a 1/3 full for the the D.R.U.G.S./SKSK run...maybe 1/2. I'm really surprised they just didn't book this at Bottom Lounge.

I was thinking this, last time SKSK played Chicago was at the Bottom Lounge (and from videos on Youtube it seems it didnt sold well) and DRUGS was playing at the Subterranean. Curious how tickets will move for this one

 

I was thinking that maybe nostalgia hype would at least make it sell decently. But I think I’m 100% wrong lol

 

Cove also sings for Dead American! Seeing him with SKSK at Furnace Fest was incredible, I never got to see him with Saosin
