Alt-J at MSG I think was decently full due to having Phantogram as opener. Strangely, PTM announced a Forest Hill and BK Steel date at the same time, dictating that only people who bought Forest Hills tickets were eligible for BK Steel. I think they over-estimated their demand as BK Steel was opened to everyone and barely sold out (they had played T5 two times in 2017 and also did area shows in Port Chester and Sayreville). In order to boost sales, their Forest Hills show was sponsored by Alt 92.3 and support was from Lucius, Jungle and Hobo Johnson (awesome bill to be honest, was a great show). At this stage...I bet this does fine in places like NYC but may struggle to fill 5k-capacity places elsewhere.

Is there new music on the way from either Alt J or PTM?

 

It’s really odd to me that PTM have yet to release any new music. I thought they’d wanna try to maintain the high that Feel It Still brought them, but I guess they’re doing just fine without it…

 

It will certainly be interesting tracking the Ticket Master seat chart.

Alt J has a new album early 2022, and I’m assuming PTM will as well.

I saw PTM this summer. They did not play any new music.

 

Theyre still opening with their Metallica cover…they’ve been opening shows with that since like 2017.

 

PTM has to have something coming out soon. I remember hearing about new music being worked on since like 2019

 

Still crazy how the guy from PTM was the vocalist in a screamo band

 

And if I’m not mistaken, PTM also toured with bands in that vein in their early days, right? Weren’t they also signed to Fearless at one point?

 

First time I saw PTM they opened for Thursday and Circle Takes The Square

 

Chvrches did two sold-out headlining gigs in NYC two months after the Recover EP came out. Did a 13 song set. Olivia will do just fine.

 

I've seen Chase Atlantic headline a couple times and they never break 50 minutes, it's infuriating.

 

At beartooth in Chicago tonight and so many people once they got in took their masks off. Fucking horrible

 

Fearless released their first couple albums and then they signed to Equal Vision before their major label deal.

 

And they are streaming the show live too... Not a good look but was expected

 

Yeah but tickets for that where $10

 

I have Julien Baker at Metro in a couple minutes…I imagine most folks will be leaving their masks on

 

311 got cut short tonight in Jacksonville due to weather. They made everyone leave while it was still downpouring and the parking lot was starting to flood.

 

Anybody know the set times for the Pure Noise Tour? Maybe a Bearings or FYS set list?

 

Fugees tour off to an excellent start! 3 hours late in NYC last night and a 45 min set.
