This is clearly something we’re gonna have to get used to going forward.

  3. At this point I would prefer ETID/END/SYSC

Every Time I Die / Eighteen Visions and Few Left Standing are doing a pre-Furnace Fest gig in Memphis, TN at Growler's 9/23.

New TGUK date added late August for Bloomington, IL with tickets on sale tomorrow. More dates coming soon?

    Hope so!

  9. I think that's just on their way out to a fest they're playing in Ohio the next day, but I'm excited to see them again.

Maybe I'm thinking too much into this, but after the Foo Fighters & Buckcherry announcements it seems pretty realistic... Let's say one member of a band tests positive for COVID in the middle of a tour. Would the entire tour package have to postpone future shows? Would the entire venue's staff have to quarantine, postponing other shows they have planned? If anyone on here works with artist/venue contracts, have you seen anything about COVID in the contracts?

It makes sense with Rival Sons and the Struts being in the mix. Middle of the road, melodic radio-rock music with (louder) guitars.

The way I tend to look at festival line-ups, it's like "Is there another few artists who fit alongside this one?" There's usually a bunch of venn diagrams.

Like, it's arguably weird that Mod Sun is on there. But they would make sense alongside K.Flay (who I could see playing with or opening for a number of different acts on the line-up).

    EDIT: Hopefully that made sense!

Florida LOVES buttrock...actually the whole south and midwest do as well. When bands like Shinedown, Papa Roach, Nickelback, Pop Evil, Theory of a Deadman, etc go on tour they always load up on dates in those regions.

That is a weird lineup but if it was near me I would go haha

They are touring with The Struts and Ayron Jones so it looks like they brought the whole tour on there

I personally know several people who are fully vaxxed and have still gotten Covid.

We’re in for a…weird touring season, folks.

You can still get COVID even if you are fully vaxxed, you just are way less likely to become severely ill from contracting COVID than if you were unvaccinated.

We know. But it’s still going to be an issue for tours.

Yup, exactly. Part of me is really wanting to know if the people within these bands, and their organizations or whatever, who got COVID were vaccinated or not. Were they tested because they were showing symptoms (and if so, were they vaxxed)? Just out of pre-caution?

I honestly think this is going to mostly impact bands and their teams who have members who are not vaccinated more than anything. Otherwise they wouldn't necessarily have any idea...

I would guess they are doing regular tests for bands and crew, even if they are vaccinated

So with this new crop of covid cases popping up, does this mean spectators should start masking when they're attending shows? I'm beginning to think that it's a smart idea, even though I live in an area that has an average of 57% of fully vaccinated folks (in the city/county, as opposed to the whole health district).
