Yeah, I think good 4 u has surpassed drivers licence as her biggest song

High School Musical did not finish airing until early 2020 so there was no tour, and she wasn’t really singing on Disney before that. So she has never toured, and has never really played a “real” show either since everything else was TV. Pretty crazy!

 

I heard “traitor” on the radio a few days ago…her whole album is dominating

 

Have to imagine there is going to be a LARGE team prepping her for a tour like this given the amount of attention that'll be on her and the fact that she's never toured, much less performed live a lot. That's not to slight her in any way but, ask any act, and touring with a big level of production with heightened media exposure means you have to be on point, otherwise it could really wreck your career. Almost happened to Lana Del Rey when she when she first came out and it scared her away from properly touring North America for a few years.

 

Do we think Olivia could headline basketball & hockey arenas already, and play to like 18,000 people a night? Or would she play amphitheatres and large clubs that hover around 10,000 people that she'd be able to sell out quicker?

My prediction: Judging that Billboard article, it seems she’ll do a 3k-5k cap theater tour in spring 2022. I bet it’ll sell out instantly, which will then lead so either a summer or fall arena tour

 

feel like she could either headline arenas or do two nights at big theaters in major markets (nyc/la/sf/chi etc) but just big theaters other places, at least if she wants to have sellouts or near it. that's just a pure guess tho

 

Anyone know if Vein has anything lined up tour wise?

I had never heard an Olivia song besides Drivers License, and last week I was out and with friends at a brewery and a song came on that sounded like a Paramore (Riot-era) b-side and people lost their shit.

That was when I heard Good 4 U

 

Does she even have 60mins worth of material to perform? Might be let down to see a 50mim arena set, maybe she’ll release a deluxe version with some extra songs to pad out the live show?

That's a good point actually. Her album is 35 minutes long, and I'm not sure if she will fill her set with songs from HSM.

I have considered that she can be the opening act for next Taylor Swift tour as it seems they are friends

 

I have a feeling we're gonna be seeing this a lot...
