I’m surprised this wasn’t shared here yet but here it is

The rally Smash Mouth played may have caused 260,000 COVID-19 cases

 

Ridiculous. So many bands are out of work because of this awful virus, and it is especially effecting the smaller bands who don't get as much attention/recognition/money as they should when they are not touring. Lots of folks in bands have been left scrambling on what to do to survive during this time (especially artists who have released an album during this time/have an album release planned) while idiots like Smash Mouth just make things worse.

I know there had been discussion in here before about wondering about "the tours that would have been." This would have been a cool one.

 

New Found Glory was going on a Self-titled 20-year tour in the fall as well

 

Hellogoodbye was going to do a Would It Kill You 10-Year tour this year too.

 

Pretty cool of them to promote support of all the bands on that lineup

 

That Abr tour would have been fucking sick!!! I wonder if it was a us tour or an over seas tour

 

US as ABR and counterparts were both scheduled to play furnace fest

So Judas Priest was originally playing Rebel Rock this year, which got moved to 9/24-26 next year, then decided not to do that but instead do their own metal festival two weeks prior? Interesting.

This was so true for the majority of my life until IKEA opened another location in Bolingbrook.

 

I work like 3 minutes from there, i drive past there every day but never actually went in.

I fuck with the first Godsmack record. Beyond that I'm out.

 

I fuck with Staind’s second album but can’t do any other album from that scene/era

 

Stainds first two albums are great, and they have some bangers throughout the rest of their catalogue. That being said Aaron Lewis is now a huge MAGA piece of shit. Also, Godsmack has been god awful since day one.

 

Both bands are now and always have been awful
