I would have preferred to do Saturday instead of Fri but I already have a pit ticket so I'm content. I have around 5 friends trying to score pit tickets tomorrow so maybe they'll have a better chance on getting pit tix for Friday since I figure more people will want to go Saturday instead now.

    1) so they're really trying the amphitheater thing with these two as headliners again? or is it there because it's the major market date?

    2) lol @ wolverinekills.

the amphitheater thing could work depending on the lineup and then obviously the guarantees and overhead. Plus you factor in sponsees, advertising, parking, merch and they can make money drawing 7k-10k

Past Mayhem fest stops also hit Finley Park. I’m curious if the other headliners are the same size/draw for this to work.
