Part of me hopes it's the tour you had mentioned before in here.

 

The Lawrence Arms are opening Cleveland and I'm extremely stoked

 

Weird, the Observatory here in Santa Ana announced they’re playing OC July 17th, the date of the Boise show

 

Hints?

 

I copy and pasted these dates from BrooklynVegan. Wouldn't be surprised if there's some inconsistencies between that and reality because it hasn't been officially announced by the band yet. I'll update the dates when something official comes out.

Cue me feeling incredibly stressed out until there's confirmation that the Explosion are opening the Boston date and/or that they plan on doing more than just opening up a run of Bad Religion shows.

I mean, they're a Boston band so I'd assume they're playing it but...

 

Well, here's how things are shaping up at the moment. Only Dave Hause on the Boston date at the moment.

 

That's slightly disappointing. I blame Brooklyn Vegan for weak and confusing reporting. Haha. Though, I wonder if the Explosion will wind up opening the NYC shows.

The fact that they're playing any shows has me excited that there might be more coming up.

 

Yeah. The fact that they dropped the ball with this is a bit disappointing to me as they're usually decent about verifying stuff before they put it out. Oh well.

 

Honestly, it's probably a poorly-written press release. I've seen a few sites reporting the same thing (despite the ad mat you just shared).

 

That's why I always share the admats put out by bands if I can. If I'm going to post inaccurate info, it might as well be straight from the horse's mouth.

 

Gideon and Varials will be playing some shows together in July around their respective appearances at this year’s ‘Rock USA‘ festival. Those dates include:

Well-played. And FWIW, Songkick has the Explosion listed as opening up the Webster Hall and Brooklyn Steel shows in NYC.

Damn just realized the Santa Ana show is the same night as Beck/Cage The Elephant in Irvine. Gonna try for Hollywood or Warped then

 

Bad Religion an hour away or Incubus at home for $10? Both August 6th. Decisions...
