I'm in the middle of a four way tie for AOTY, and I'm thinking both Balance and Bon Iver could further complicate things.

Probably haha. Also I saw The Hotelier open for Basement a couple weeks ago and am way more inclined to give Happiness a few more chances. But I'm afraid I'll have another record that needs to fit into a top 10

You should! It's a great album. I tried to make a top ten yesterday and it was super hard. This year's been unreal

 

I have no idea how I'm going to put together a top ten this year. It seriously feels like every week for the next 2 months something is coming out that could deserve a spot on the list.

I just listened to this while doing something else and loved it. When I listened yesterday and read the lyrics along I really liked it but mostly for the theme. Yeah I like this record a lot.

 

I'm going to have listened to this album about 15x before it actually gets to my door step. Thank you, Spotify!

Gather is really fucking good.

 

Benediction was so strange on first listen but I think it might be my 2nd favorite now behind New Halloween.
