That show with Circa got cancelled in Michigan because Anthony was sick, but the other bands did a show at a tiny venue and it was great. Jordan from La Dispute came out during Touché and played a song from their split.

 

I remember this! Anthony broke a rib the night before, if I'm not mistaken. I had tickets to that show, but by the time I realized the openers were still playing at a different venue I had already made other plans and couldn't make it. I was bummed.

 

I remember the pre show acoustic set from that tour. probably the last time, I saw a free acoustic set.

 

Went on a run listening to this for the first time idk if it was sweat or tears hoo boy

 

I don't know if I wanna listen. It might be too much

 

I said it on my first listen, and now that I'm in my 7th or 8th listen, I still say Displacement is the best. This whole album is so damn good.

 

Displacement is still my favorite too... Hit me way harder in context of the album.

 

Eight Seconds New Halloween and Water Damage are my favorites

 

But all 11 tracks are A-level songs

 

I absolutely loved ISB but this is making a serious fun after the first listen.

 

Yep I was at the show he broke the rib at! My buddy was worried about his car getting towed so we didn't stay to see most of Circa's set, but I guess he went off stage for like 10 minutes and then went back out and finished the set.

 

I can't get over how good this album is. I can't even pick a favorite song.

This might be my favorite album of the year so far.

Played this and Keep You yesterday and many tears were shed in honor of my deceased father and my wonderful mother

 

I literally don't think my heart could handle it.

 

Giving this a listen now. I liked parting the sea, but wasn't mad on their last one.

 

It was rough, but now I love both those albums even more now

Yeah that song makes the tears flow for sure. I think Rapture is currently my favorite song, but it changes every few listens.

This album will be looked back on in 10 years as a classic.

 

The ONLY nitpick I have is that I wish the album flowed a little better between songs like their previous albums did. Stand outs for me are Rapture, Water Damage, and obviously Skyscraper.
