I miss secret voice radio I like Palm Dreams though. Makes me wish I had been more curious and invested in learning about my grandfather's life before he passed. I can only get stories secondhand now, and all of the times I could have asked I was just too self centered to think to steer our conversations in such a way that could have been more enlightening.
Secret Voice radio was amazing - my favs were D Havok and Kindlon shows such a chill show with a lot of great music and ideas discussed
Secret voice radio was the only thing that got me through ten hour days last summer. I particularly liked Kevin's guest spot since he played some songs and brought some different taste to the show but remember daveys being really cool as well. I keep trying to find archived episodes but can only get the one from last December.
yeah man, Jeremy is a great host too you can really appreciate how he manages to make his guests open up because he makes them feel so comfortable talking
Not to mention that he rattles off damn near encyclopedic knowledge of both music and stuff like some house hardcore show he attended once in 2003, what bands played, who the members were, any name changes the band has had since, and all of the extraneous details of said show.
yeah, it's insane fucking SV radio, come back!! (it will obviously not happen anytime soon because new TA record/touring) :(
Probably my single greatest fear and also why this song resonates as strongly with me as it does. Beautiful write up as always, Drew.
Caved and Pre-Ordered the deluxe package. The one for ...Is Survived by was so good I figure this has to be at least equal if not better.
I mean even ignoring how gut-wrenching these songs are, just form a musical standpoint these songs are the best this band has ever sounded.
I wish we lived in a world where the new TA album gets a Chorus thread of at least the same number of pages than Goodness this is going to be legendary
