Turn on the Bright Lights is an all time greatest album for me. I still remain firmly on the side that thinks that ALL of Hot Fuss is worth listening to. Never made it all the way through Is This It. Whatever People Say I am is a jam.
ryan alerted me that totbl has a "rape" lyric in it and i'm glad i stopped supporting that band a year or two ago, even if i still own that record
Any chance we're getting a stream of this early? I have the deluxe edition vinyl ordered but it would be nice to put this in my rotation as soon as possible haha.
I've never seen them live, but I really enjoy their record from early this year. The 3-song run of "Aquasun", "Submission", and "Oversized" is fantastic. Going to put it on right now actually. Also, I really hope we get a stream of this next week.
The only time I've seen Touché live was from halfway across the field at a festival, while I was probably still sort of hungover, so it probably didn't translate as well as it could have (speaking as someone who does like their music)
don't know - was p drunk by that point (LOL) and I just got into HUM tbh TA did play a new one tho and it was sick highest point for me was Gravity, Metaphorically
I'm not sure either, but, like you, just went with it. I thoroughly enjoyed el pintor as well. Haven't gone back to it much, but still a solid release from a band that many thought had completely stalled out.
I adore Interpol that said, I enjoy all of their albums my fav is Our Love to Admire but TOtBL is obviously their best but even the s/t has grown on me a lot, love it
Lol. Honestly they're equal. I can't pick just one. They complement each other well. There's room in my heart for both.
One things that's cool about both is how connected all the tracks are. All the multiple lyrical callbacks throughout both albums are neat.
