i legit forgot i was in the TA thread, haha. all this la dispute talk. i like the music and the build of King Park, but the lyrics just don't hold up anymore. it's so overdramatic; i know Jordan is writing about some tragic stuff that happened in/around his hometown but this song just don't work

 

i cried when i first heard king park. no shame.

 

king park's drama seems too forced, edward benz is a much more natural example of a really crushing story on top of powerful music

 

Although that's easily my least favourite on Rooms, ha. Not a fan of that at all other than some of the lyrics.

 

I still think King Park is fantastic and better than any song on Rooms.
