Sure but the mix is still bad and if it’s quieter that means it’s less dynamic in sound even if I do turn it up. Just sayin’

 

Generally, when music is quieter, it's because there is MORE dynamic range, not less.

 

haven’t had a chance to listen to the song yet but if you think the mix is bad I don’t really think that’s on Ross, considering Steve Evetts mixed it. but either way it sounds like what’s bothering you is actually likely more of a mastering thing, which would be on Alan Douches.

 

This is just flat out wrong. When a recording is louder it is usually do to compression. These recordings are very dynamic. Look at the wav files and stop worrying about it sounding loud.

 

I turned it up louder on the headphones and the mix/production/mastering whatever it is still sounded pretty mid. It just sounds like a demo to me so idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
