No, but Vein was associated or directly involved with a band that confronted venue staff after a show last night and a member from the other band pulled a gun on one of the staff members
….. *long sigh of disappointment* I’m still super pumped to see Vein tonight (of course I’m hyped for Touché too) but that’s such machismo bullshit lol
Heads up to anyone that slept on the splitsville thing — it just streamed and was worth all five dollars. The bands covered Come Heroine and Act Appalled. Colored 7” records available for $15 with admission, stream is up for 48 hours Splitsville Ep 4: Circa Survive and Touché Amoré from Two Minutes To Late Night
Caught them in AZ last night and they were great — my third or fourth Touché show and it was by far the best they’ve sounded. Finally seeing the Lament tracks live felt a little cathartic, being my aoty during the shitshow of 2020. Crowd responses to a few of the newer tracks were lackluster though, hope that’s not too common elsewhere
crowd responses to new songs on the Thrice tour in Seattle were tepid too. Really unfortunate, I don't get it.
Quite the opposite in Chicago, Lament songs went off. Not necessarily to the same caliber as old songs, but still pretty great
I’m so jealous. They didn’t come anywhere within 6 hours of me for their Thrice tour and the same for this tour. I’d love to see them live
My Thrice date the crowd loved Lament songs. Though yes they went especially hard for the Parting and Dead Horse cuts
I’d say people went nuts for Come Heroine and Reminders, but gave almost nothing for Exit Row, Limelight, Lament, and Feign
