This album just clicked and GOD DAMN it's fantastic. Going back through the discography now and idk what took so long for it to hit the spot
Yeah, I still spin this regularly. Usually when "From peaks of blue, come heroine!" pops into my head.
Hey everyone! I started a Patreon! Here's my little mission statement. I am really excited to get this thing off the ground. Happy to answer any questions yall might have about it and look forward to hanging out there. Been pretty burnt out on fighting the algorithm to share things so I'm gonna focus all that energy there instead. "Let me take a swing at what I'm trying to do here. My goal is the build a community for those who enjoy sharing and learning about music, film, and other artistic mediums! I worked at a record store for several years of my life and that love for sharing art with the public never went away. I'm excited to provide content as well as a shared space (discord / posts here) for all of us to discover new and cool things. I've gone into detail in the tiers of what to expect, but I'll be growing this concept as it goes! This Patreon loosely ties into my podcast (The First Ever Podcast) where based on which tiers you subscribe will be given access to submit questions to upcoming guests and well as receive bonus radio episodes. Lastly, I will be sending out gifts three times a year for subscribers of the third tier. The first will be an unreleased poetry collection I wrote called NOVEMBER that I will personalize to you."
I need to take this album on my run in the morning. I never quite found the right time to slot it into rotation, loud(er) music just kind of missed me when it was released.
I’ll probably sub too. Also, I still come back to Lament quite a bit. I would probably place it in the top three of their discography. After having a personal death in the family - Lament and Stage Four have become my go-to albums when it’s TA. Such incredible records.
My sincere condolences. I'm happy you've found some comfort in those albums. They're my two favorites for sure
yeah i found stage iv to be quite a difficult listen, as I lost my mom to stage iv brain cancer around the time of that album dropping, but have found lament to be quite cathartic and after spinning that a ton was able to go back to stage iv with new appreciation
This bump reminded me that it’s been a while since I listened to the record and it’s still incredible.
Lament has become my go-to running album lately. Every song hits just right. It's also perfect back-to-back with Stage IV for longer workouts. Highly recommended.
Does anyone need the deluxe vinyl of PTSBBAM? Thinking about parting with it if a chorus peep needs it for their collection. Also have standard black 10 years vinyl as well.
