kinda quit caring about variants a while ago. i’ll grab the coolest looking one still available when i go to purchase but, pre-covid, most of my purchases were at the local indie shop where almost everything is standard black vinyl

 

I like a nice variant but I know that vinyl production is so finicky that I never expect it to look like the mock up and I’m always just happy to have it as long as it sounds ok

 

listened to them all weekend and because of it realized I had to buy Is Survived by on vinyl

cheap and easy to collect

 

It makes sense to me, as someone whose first foray into music was listening to REM and Beastie Boys cassettes on car trips with the folks.

Would I ever actually listen to these? Probably not, but if you're gonna support an artist by buying physical memorabilia there are worse options. Like the novelty holiday socks! (Just playing, Jeremy)
