  2. These new songs haven't been doing it for me...

    I might or might not still buy the new album, I don't know.

    I did like parts of this song, namely how the guitar riffs in the chorus matched the vocals with a pretty counter-melody.

    I am really liking this new stuff. I like it more musically than vocally. Does anybody have any suggestions on music that captures this same aesthetic with maybe some cleaner more melodic vocals?

    Not what I was expecting, but I really like this. Will almost certainly pick this up on the day of release.


    Not sure if it's exactly what you're describing, but Crooks UK might be worth a shot. Their earlier stuff was closer to this, with the harsher vocals, but on Are We All The Same Distance Apart they essentially stripped anything that resembled screaming from their sound. It's definitely on of my favorite albums of last year.

    i haven't heard their previous releases, but i friggin loved AWATSDA.

    as for TA, i think this is shaping up to be their best. 3/3 for me
