I’m enjoying this a lot more than her past two albums and this might be on par with Sprinter for me. Really liking this

Three Futures remains the gold standard for me, but there’s so much to love about this record and very little I’m not a fan of.

I also haven’t gone a day this past week without listening to “Hands in the Air” several times in a row. It’s the best song Wax Idols never wrote.

 

My friend got us on the guest list for her show tonight (it was sold out and when my friend messaged her about extra tickets she graciously put her on the guest list with a +1) so I'm seeing her tonight!

@Orla are you gonna be there tonight?

 

Nah, got a ticket but I still don’t feel comfortable going to shows again. Have fun!

 

She was outstanding tonight. Really great show! The new songs from both recent albums sound great live.

She was one of the best shows I saw last year and my friend and I are seeing her again in a couple weeks at the same venue! I am sooooo excited!

 

I saw her live again tonight and she was really good. I got to meet her afterwards and she was super sweet to me. She also let me in on a secret which she said I could share: she recorded a country album this year with Julien Baker that’s coming out next year. My hype is through the roof.

 

An album of Mackenzie and Julien performing as a duo, or a solo album from one of them that the other produced? Either way, rad.
