Absolutely. I'd gladly buy them on iTunes which makes it even more unfortunate

 

it's weird to me though that apc and puscifer are available. i always assumed it was maynard who was against it but maybe it's one of the other guys

 

Yeah I thought about that today so it leads me to believe it's an entire group consensus. Plus APC has always struck me as a more... traditional (which is not at all a slight against them, they are very good) outlet for Maynard so that could be why he hasn't resisted it there.

I feel like all the guys want to maintain the atmosphere of mystery that Tool attained in the '90s

 

yeah, i think this is probably right. and the more i think about it, the more adam seems to be the pretty clear "leader" of tool

I'm seeing APC in April with Soundgarden, mastodon, every time I die, gojira and a few other sweet bands. It's this rock fest in Jacksonville. I'm so stoked.

I love the rawness of the Aenima demos. Highlights how well they managed to capture that energy on record whilst making it as well rounded as it is.

Lol. I had a Facebook "On this Day" thing from 2014 that was me posting an article saying that the new album should be out this year.

Man, we're so dumb when we're young.
