So ready for this. Honestly not expecting anything until at least 2018 though, if they haven't started recording and Maynard hasn't contributed yet.
Maynard just needs to take a break from Puscifer so they can finish this album. That project is underwhelming compared to APC, yet he seems to spend almost all his time with that project.
APC > Tool there, I said it - fight me that said, just give us the new Tool already, jesus, what's so hard to do? write? record? Gucci Mane released shit while physically constrained - fuck these wimps
I'm honestly not a huge fan, and I love Maynard. I wouldn't even be able to tell you where I start, because I have a difficult time finding much of it successful. Conditions of my Parole is pretty cool. There are some good tracks on the new album though that I found. Here's one: After going back and listening to that, the beginning reminds me a lot of Radiohead's "Burn The Witch"
I have literally never listened to a second of Puscifer music - gut tells me I'm not missing anything
Guess I'm gonna listen to Conditions of My Parole. Also never listened to Puscifer and assumed I wasn't missing anything.
All I care about is Tool. Puscifer is blah. Although, to be fair, as much as I enjoy Maynard in Tool, the other guys' contributions is what peaks my interest the most.
The other two albums are fine, but Conditions is excellent. Donkey Punch The Night is also a great EP
If this is true......... Rumor: Tool Will Release 2.5 Hour, Double-Album Decem This Fall | MetalSucks
No way is this happening. Those exact song lengths? Two and a half hours? Regresolution? I'm not buying it
I remember someone saying the same thing about the song title "Rosetta Stoned" when the tracklisting to 10,000 Days leaked hahaha
I don't know what separates a cool prog rock song title from a laughable prog rock song title at this point
