If Daniel Wu's character knows martial arts and gets to fight in this movie, I will definitely see it lol.
I really didn't like the pistol thing at the end of the trailer. Really hoping it is just a pointless callback to the old games.
Considering she had no guns on the island I almost guarantee it’s just a callback to the older games.
Has anyone seen a screening for this yet? I had a screening for this tonight, but it got moved to tomorrow because of the blizzard here, and I'd like to know if this is worth seeing over a screening of Love Simon (which I already saw but might enjoy a second time) that's also playing tomorrow
I dunno, I don't want to spend an hour and 50-odd minutes on something I won't like, whereas with the other movie it's more of a sure thing
looks absolutely terrible, and my gf is going to still make me see it. Why remake this franchise? Thank god for moviepass at least
I'm happy to have moviepass in case it's not very good haha, but as far as remaking the franchise, it was very necessary for the video games and the reboot is miles better than the originals. it'll be unfortunate if the movie isn't as good, but such is the way of video game movies.
I'm actually weirdly into seeing this movie in spite of having never played the games, lol. Having Movie Pass makes it less of a commitment, and it looks like a fun little adventure.
Why would you rather watch a movie you've already seen for a second time, before it's even released in the theater, than see something new that you're obviously at least somewhat curious about?
Because I liked it and I'd probably enjoy it a second time too, whereas with this one I have no idea if it'll be worth my time and I'm not sure it's even worth risking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This was tremendously boring. How you could take this cast and suck all the charisma out of them is a true achievement in film.
