Something about it looked off to me and I was wondering why I hadn't seen it before.

 

They just finished filming last week so I don't expect a trailer until Comic-Con next month.

 

New Photo of Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider these photos have me stoked, still waiting on a trailer!

Apparently the trailer was dropped on Instagram, but wasn't the full trailer and was cropped to a shitty 1:1 aspect ratio. It's since been deleted lol. Should be getting the trailer soon, though.

 

From what I've seen it looks like a tv movie. I really want this to be good, though. The games are awesome.

 

Why release a trailer at a time people aren't even awake?

 

I'm dumb as hell. Waited for 9:50, realized it's 9:50 PST, now I've gotta wait up until 12:50.

 

I think it looks cool. The saving humanity line was cringy. I already like Alicia more than Angelina.

If nothing else, Walter should be great in this. The dialog felt so video game-y in the trailer. "a tomb called The Mother of Death" "right in the middle of The Devil's Sea" Lines like that are so damn hokey. Its interesting that they are using a lot of the puzzle elements, from the looks of it. Definitely has big Naughty Dog vibes.

 

Oof that does not look great. Was really hoping this would be the one to get it right. Hopefully it's just a bad trailer and it turns out good anyway.

 

I wish the trailer had more of an epic feel to it for lack of a better word. Staying hopeful though. I think Alicia will be a great Lara Croft.

 

Hmm, trailer wasn't great. It did have Nick Frost at the end though, so points for that.

 

Looks like a typical video game movie trailer. "Look at the cool action!"

Which is fine. There just wasn't anything special to really differential it at this point, but it's early.

Got mad Batman Begins/Arrow/Iron Fist vibes at the start though.
