Honestly, all the power to him. If he craters this thing and nothing substantial comes out of it, it's still better than every other celebrity blowing it on mansions and other nonsense. If even one material scientific discovery comes out of this then its pretty much a win. Anyone investing in this has to know its risky but like any experimental tech startup, there could be huge upside in the long term.
There is zero upside to this investment for investors on this with how it is structured. It's a massively bad deal. I can think of lots of places $1.8m could be spent. And where his 100k guaranteed salary (even if they make no profit) could be spent if that's the metric.
His position on Syria sounds crazy? I find it ODD that is the first official complaint on this thread. All Tom really said is that the US and Russia are having a proxy war along with other countries. My only critique regarding that is I would add Israel to the top of the list of countries that he mentioned are involved. The situation in Syria isn't complicated, it's contrived by the US using false flags to achieve their agenda of destabilizing the Middle East for Israel to expand territory. Same old story. If you buy the mainstream media's version of Syria you likely buy all the other garbage we are told about wars and you're not even worth bothering trying to wake up. Even so, Syria was discussed for a only a moment and then come the blanket statements about Tom being crazy. Is the definition of a crazy person someone who may hold an opposing view? That's a little crazy I think.. actually - a bit Orwellian. The subject of the podcast is really about energy & control more than anything which no one seems to be discussing. Is that crazy? Tesla showed us free energy a century ago. There's no need to embellish here, that's a fact. Many more have come forth attempting to bring out this technology and are destroyed by the system. Also, if you don't believe in aliens and spacecrafts why do you even care what he has to say at this point? Any fan or former fan of his should know Tom has been into this stuff for twenty + years. I think Tom is still an ego maniac and I don't agree with him 100% but just consider some of the stuff he's put out there. You don't necessarily have to adopt a belief about it. There's enough superficial bullshit in the world, if you have a different take, why not offer your perspective instead of bashing someone and being divisive on your community website... celebrity or not, it's pretty pathetic. There can't even be a conversation with the this bias mob mentality.
I hope everyone else read this in an Alex Jones voice like I did. Not that this is on his level but parts...
The amount of people in this thread that don't want to admit that Blink is better without Tom is funny.
The question I have is this: If I were one of these "higher ups" that Tom claims to be working with and wanted my theories to be taken seriously, and I was logical, why would I want to link up with a guy like Tom Delonge to advance my agenda? Tom is not organized or professional enough to accurately convey complicated thoughts. He just has money & notoriety. I suspect a lot of these guys are just taking him for a ride and getting some cash out of it. That's why he can't share their names or positions. Reputations get preserved but Tom gets some "information" and they get some cash.
The poster spelled Syria correctly, and used the right form of "your", so that's a telltale sign that it's not him
Nice jab :) Man, I was really hoping for something of substance. Thank you for reaffirming how thin skinned and arrogant you can be just for being an operative of this site. Goodbye.
There is no such thing as a moderate rebel. ISIS (Israeli Secret Intelligence Service) is a mercenary force backed by the west, mostly by DynCorp and the Clinton Foundation.
California is better than dogs eating dogs and neighborhoods. Aside from "After Midnight" it's nothing memorable. This is coming from someone with a boxcar racer lyric as their username and Tom as their idol growing up. It's obviously not gonna beat timeless records like Enema, Dude Ranch, or self titled but it's the best for blink now. In other words, I think we're in agreement
I'd say Heart's All Gone and MH are pretty great Blink songs. But I'm in agreement that California is a step up/return to form.
This thread is Canyon-Tier! I watched the whole podcast. It was amusing watching Tom try to explain himself for hours.
