It has to hit $1m or it'll be a failure as well.

How much was Mr. DeLonge's ownership share diluted down to?

    It wasn't.

even if it made like $100m in investments (LOL), Tom would grow tired of it within a year or two and move on to the next thing. He gave up on the comics and other shit, what's next? Become a master chef? Become a florist?

While it's fun to shit on this project (and a lot of other things that come up with Tom), I will always give the dude credit for chasing his dreams.

I've been doing random goofy projects most of my life and the one thing I always followed was "Never stop creating". Doesn't matter what it is, just always keep doing something. Nothing but respect for others with that drive.

So I finally watched the conference, and I like to be open minded.

That being said though, here is my stance.

Overall, this seems like a great idea in concept, I would even go as for as to support the initiative (maybe not with money). However, I fear it will be poorly handled in execution. This is Tom DeLonge we're talking about here. He is busy having his head in the clouds, and doesn't think things through in actuality. Hence why many of his ventures outside of blink-182 weren't that successful.

So true, you gotta give Tom credit for this one thing.

He is so passionate about many things that it shows (maybe too much interest in many things which ends up having him spread himself thin), though that isn't a bad thing. He could have easily just cashed out, and kept being just a musician because it was 'easy' for him. Hell, he could have stuck with blink-182 if he wanted that easy cash.

From what we’ve heard, he gets that easy cash whether he’s in the band or not.
