Yeah, I didn't hate the way it ended, but I would've liked another season or two. Would be cool if they did a movie or something, like they did with Hello Ladies, but I'm doubtful.
I think they kind of blew it. For a show that felt so incredibly real at times I don't know how s1's Mary Steenburgen arc and the s2 charter school stuff happen. I can forgive the rushed happy ending finale because I'm sure they had a good idea they weren't going to get to come back but this felt like two different shows from episode to episode.
I didn't particularly liked how all of the charter school stuff happened, but I was happy there were some happier endings to tie some storylines up. Also, Sophie is simply the cutest child actor alive, right?! Adorable performance from her during the final ep.
The entire charter school thing kinda fell apart after the whole incident with David. Didn't care for the battle between the Montessori lady (can't remember her name) and Michelle.
I just finished season 2 and wow, it was so damn good. I'm honestly depressed that this wasn't renewed.
