Hopefully that doesn't happen for me! I liked the stuff I liked, just wish I liked all (or more) of it.

I feel sort of bad for this movie as a comic by an artist named Haus of Decline released a few years ago about basically the same thing also called Together (She doesn't think it was plagiarized from her comic, just similar parallel thinking) and does a more interesting job of the premise to me lol

 

Speaking of, a friend sent me a side by side of Together and the short film that Shanks was accused of stealing from, and while I want to believe his IG post about it, the similarities seem a little much although it’s not like the idea of two becoming one is super novel to begin with.

I can almost guarantee you specifically won't really like it lol

 

based on what lol? i thought it was okay. didn't dislike it as much as it seems grim did. thought the first half was legitimately terrible but once alison gets on the same page/wavelength as dave the last 30/45 minutes i thought it found its tone better and cooked a bit more

 

Still thinking about how quickly he drank the weird cave water. It was like five minutes. I'd be there for weeks and not drink the cave water. They simply didn't need to drink the weird water!

 

That was the only believable part! I drink cave water 2 or 3 times a week.

 

Tbf he also thinks lo fi beats is a sustainable career

 

Yeah my buddy was immediately like...it's raining and you have several bottles? You're really thirsty for having been there a couple of hours?

 

I forgot they got that nice house on a teacher’s salary, ok yeah sure

 

yeah I couldn't stop thinking about this scene lol

Really liked this. Pretty damn scary too, especially in the first half.
