I have to say the marketing has been on point for this film.

 

was there ever a resolution to the lawsuit about this? I do want to see it but that whole thing bummed me out quite a bit

Currently sat for a free early screening. Very pumped for this one. I’ll likely post spoilered thoughts in the thread afterwards.

This was a ton of fun. The body horror fans will dig it. The black comedy fans will dig it even more.

It’s cool that a real life couple made this because it gives everything bigger context and hits harder. The drama really carried this movie well and felt true to life for a lot of 30-something couples.

Effects were top notch and accomplish some things we haven’t seen before. The more I learned about this movie, the more I thought it would be wild if they went a specific lane of body horror and they ONE HUNDRED PERCENT DID IT in the bathroom stall. I felt vindicated in my gross horror brain.

Only gripe I have is the obvious cult turn with the teacher colleague. Didn’t hate the decision, just felt obvious.

Solid B+ flick that I would recommend to any fan of body horror.
