My brother hit me up about this yesterday, think we’re gonna check it out. We can probably recite the damn movie line by line with how worn out the VHS we had of it is.

    TMNT forever!

I'm totally seeing this with my kids in theaters. I was a big TMNT fan growing up, and one of my kids discovered my old Ninja Turtles figures years ago and fell in love with them. We watched the 2nd movie a ton together, but I always thought the first movie was a bit dark for kids. But they're 9 now, so I can't wait to see this in theaters. It'll be the first time for all of us!

Honestly… the animated series, action figures, and video games appealed to me much more than the live action movies. I didn’t dislike the movies, but they did feel much darker than the TV series. Not inappropriately dark or anything, it just gave off an entirely different feel for me.

While it's a lot cheesier, I think the second movie is a fun watch. Too bad that third one just sucks

The first one is pretty dark. The second one was much more lighthearted. The third is corny and bad.
I agree that the second one is the most fun to watch. The first is objectively a better movie. And the third...let's just pretend they didn't make that abomination.
