I'll be at that STL date for sure, hell yeah
oh man, these songs are so much better than anything on the last one. this rocks
that sitcom thing they put together is really cool. i was not expecting pat to be an expert level mc
the new album feels so much like a direct reaction to APC
Ten rock rippers in 38 mins
It’s great if not a little one note
wait is it out?
leaked this morn
Titus Andronicus' Patrick Stickles Ranks All of the Band's Records
I understand his reasoning and all but still this is WACK
i love local business
As do I
Local Business is my least favorite after Productive Cough, but overall that list is pretty nuts
Monitor at #4 lmao
i am alright with TMLT being at the top tho personally. maybe not how i'd do it but it's not crazy to me.
Airing of Grievances and A Productive Cough are the 2 I go back to the least
Haven't heard Obelisk yet but have high hopes
Monitor, Local Business, and TMLT are all great. TMLT is very very underrated in my mind
Wow, he is CANDID in that interview
1. The Monitor
2. The Most Lamentable Tragedy
3. The Airing of Grievances
4. Local Business
5. A Productive Cough
They have such an odd output in terms of chronology and quality. Usually bands trend one way or another. TA is all over the map. Nothing bad per se, though APC is extremely forgettable.
I honestly feel bad that he feels that way about The Monitor. People hold it up as this perfect album (myself included) and all he can see are the “flaws”.
I don’t feel too bad seeing as he thinks APC is better but
A little frustrating that he was only asked to defend Rolling Stone cause there’s 3-4 less defensible songs on that album
goddammit, you're over in the Taylor thread being ridiculous, but over here you have 100% my ranking
Obelisk will likely be top 3 for most
Mine is almost exact opposite of his
2. Local Business
3. A Productive Cough
4. Airing of Grievances
5. Lamentable Tragedy
Imagine calling the best album of the decade the fourth best ta album
Yeah, agree with this, except I'd flip flop #3-4 personally
well shit, the new album is really good. Super impressed.
