What makes me the saddest about them not reuniting is that we’ll never get the next progression of that sound on Hyperview
Back when they only had the Kingston EP out and had to fill the rest of the set with Gorilla Biscuits covers.
I feel like Title Fight will be THAT band that reunites for a festival in 5-10 years, when the younger crowd will just be like, "... okay, cool" but the 35+ crowd will fly in from across the country to see them again.
35 year olds breaking their fragile old bones by crowd surfing for the first time in a decade - also crushing the younger crowd who will be forced to support their aging bodies.
I'd argue the whole "everyone works with Will Yip" thing boomed because of Floral Green. Also when Turnover started playing PV stuff everyone said they were going the Title Fight route.
Whole album is one of the best to ever do it. May be my favorite album of that decade in all honesty.
Shed remains my favorite but Floral Green is perfect and Hyperview is really good Wish we got a whole record with a Spring Songs sound
trying to remember when I saw them because I know I saw them on the Touche Amore/Dead End Path/Menzingers tour but that was 2011 and I def remember them playing Head in the Ceiling Fan
I saw them and Balance and Composure when they were touring TTWTWM and Floral Green, then again with La Dispute when they were touring Hyperview. I think they were also at the first Wrecking Ball fest in Atlanta I went to?
Trying to remember who I saw them with at The Smiling Moose for Floral Green. Pianos Become the Teeth or Such Gold, I think.
