so many good memories from this era. Definitely wish I appreciated it more when it was happening. So many great shows in and around Philly for me and so many more that I skipped and look back on with a ton of regret.
The Last Thing You Forget -> Floral Green was a really special time. I don’t know anyone from any scene that didn’t at least acknowledge TF in their rise to the top. While the last album didn’t move the needle much for me, I truly look forward to this band’s return when they’re ready.
When they started out they were just the stand out punk band of that timeline. Everyone wanted to tour with them, pop-punk->hardcore. Especially the hardcore scene really took to TF. The shift in sound was supernaturally fluid going into Shed, and then perfected on Floral Green. I’ve gotten to see TF so many times I lost count. Upstate NY always showed up for them and some of my favorite music scene memories come from those tours/shows. Especially when no one knew them and they played UAlbany’s cafeteria for free.
I saw Title Fight 10+ times in a roughly 4 year time span. Last time was whenever they headlined TIHC.
