Feel like I like Shed about as much as Hyperview but Floral Green is untouchable. Spring Songs might be their best collection of songs tho

 

Any word on what these guys have been up to? New album? A tour? Anything? Hyperview came out over two years ago.

 

I back this so hard.

ooohhhh- yeah they've been doing little runs here and there, putting out merch...I'm pretty sure we'll get something this year. Doesn't Nate go to Columbia?

 

An album like spring songs would've easily been their best and I like Hyperview a lot but I still wish that was what we got / that we might get that someday

 

Floral Green is absolutely amazing, and Shed is great too, but I honestly didn't enjoy Hyperview that much.

 

I love this band so much. There is really nothing from them I dont like, minus a few of those really old tracks they did in like 2007.

 

I heard their first ever song the other day, it was surprising and so funny, the vocals were so obviously by like a 12 year old boy yet it was impressive that they did all that so young.

 

I tried to get into Title Fight for the longest time, but for some reason I never latched onto them like most of the bands they were touring with between 2011 and 2013. Then a few months ago I randomly heard “Frown” and I was hooked. After that I couldn’t stop listening to Floral Green. I think the rest of their discography is great, but I think FG is my favorite.

I’ve always found it interesting how much timing has an effect on your perception of music. Anyways, what I'm saying is - Title Fight is great and I'm glad that I finally came around haha.

Edit: I've never really listened to anything before the Kingston EP.

What are the best parts of floral green I should check out?

 

It's like half an hour you're better off listening to the whole thing

 

If you want the closest thing to Hyperview on an album, it would be "Head in the Ceiling Fan" the song where they completely nailed what Hyperview was supposed to be. But yeah Floral Green and Spring Songs are my recs if you liked Hyperview.

Is there any word of them doing anything in the near future? Feel like they just disappeared.

 

Yeah, that was their intention right? Feel like people were saying last year that this band was privately taking a break for a while. I guess when you say you're taking a break people freak out about permanent break ups and hiatuses and whatnot so they're just staying quiet.

Hopefully we get some new music from these guys next year. Interested to see where they take their sound next.

Too bad these guys are practically dead, I always thought they had potential to get pretty big in relation to their peers.
