Okay thanks so what are their biggest fee songs? Like the ones that would have to be played at any show (or close a show) etc. I know they only have 3 full lengths but I've listened to them all a few times now and it's good but not connecting. Maybe I need to really learn the words of a few key tracks and go from there.
Symmetry, shed, flood of 72, 27, Numb But I Still Feel It, Secret Society, Head In The Ceiling Fan, Murder Your Memory and Chlorine I would say a good place to start if you’re not going to just check out an album
Thanks! I've checked out the albums in full but they run together a bit in my brain with only a few moments standing out. Blasphemy to their fans I'm sure but it's a me problem. This should really help.
Honestly, I kind of respect it. I want them to reunite, but I think part of the mystique or allure of it all is that they haven’t gotten back together… yet.
Listened to shed since the day it came out, probably hundreds of times, never picked up that was a guest vocalist lmao
My favorite part of the Title Fight lore since they've broken up is how Jamie has more or less fallen off the face of the earth. A couple years ago someone found him in trail cam photos from some race they were running, and it was like when someone gets a blurry photo of Bigfoot.
If they came back I’d want a record more in the vein of shed and floral green than hyperview. That record was a dud for me, outside of a few select tracks.
Floral Green has higher highs (Head In The Ceiling Fan is one of my favorite songs ever) but I like Hyperview more as a whole.
My favorite differs on the day, but overall I'd say Floral Green is my favorite. Hyperview still hits though. Plus, it pushed me to dig into shoegaze more and listen to bands beyond like Slowdive and MBV.
