November 16 is the dvd/blu-ray release date for those interested

 

I fully understand why people love this but I honestly couldn’t connect to it much at all.

Still, the direction, music, cinematography, and probably the best lead performance of the year is more than enough for me to recommend it.

 

This is nothing like what I thought this was gonna be. Disturbing, uncomfortable, aggressively off putting, gross, and incredibly heartwarming. What a fucking film

This didn't make the shortlist for Best International Film. Pretty much out at the Academy Awards.

 

A crime it didn’t make the shortlist. It won the Palme d’Or!

 

This was always going to be too out there for the Academy. It's a shame, but no surprise.
