The girl I trained for my old position left everything un-stocked (had to do her job today). I had to take additional time to stock things that should have already been stocked and not only that, but everything was cluttered and a mess. She probably thought she was organizing, but it was a cluttered mess. She took several rags I purchased myself for my cleaning and she kept them in her area for who knows what. Like put it back if you’re going to use it. They weren’t expensive but I need them. I knew something was missing last time I cleaned. Anyway I “hid” them (just put them somewhere where she likely won’t look I hope). She also keeps certain things in her room that I told her she’s not the only one that uses it, and it to keep it in the main area.
I informed our lead about it, how nothing was stocked and some stuff was so low-that it never should have gotten THAT low. That way the lead can talk to her instead of me, because this girl doesn’t like to listen to me. She asked about something the other day (something that I tried to show her before but she walked away), so I told her what it was and her response was “i don’t know what that is” and walked away quickly. So frustrating.

When I'm browsing for clothes in a store and find something I like, only to see it's mistakenly in the wrong size section and they don't have one in my size.

When restaurants don't let adults order off the kids menu. The portions are more reasonably sized, they often have meat free options, and it's cheaper. Let me live. Another reason why I am firmly in the takeout camp these days.

Agreed. I feel like it’s completely ageist to not allow an “adult” to order off the kids menu. Sometimes I’m out to eat with friends and the only thing I would eat is on the kids menu, or I don’t have much of an appetite and rather not waste food. I’m usually stuck ordering “al a carte” or an appetizer I don’t particularly want.

Called the laundry company again because it’s been over 10 business days and no refund. I spoke with the person I initially spoke to and she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about. Appears that she didn’t even process my request in the beginning like said she would and would “try” to expedite it. First of all she said she couldn’t locate my property -eye roll emoji- yet all the agents I spoke to had no issue locating it and I said that. Then she said who I spoke with and i told her “you”, her sassy response of “me?” Really pissed me off. It was full of attitude! Like she acted like she never spoke with me. I don’t expect her to remember because I’m sure she gets lots of calls, but her attitude was uncalled for. She could have responded differently with “ok, let me look into this, I don’t recall the situation” or something like that, but the “me?” Comes off as I’m making shit up.

Edit: she said she has been too busy to check her email which is why she never responded, yet the first day I spoke with her she told me to email her, therefore she should have looked out for my email and how unprofessional is she

So I clean my works office for extra cash two times a week. I no longer do the garbage so I have more time to clean. Us staff is to do the garage at the end of our day. Girl at the front desk asked me to get the garage (that she’s suppose to do), at first I thought she asked me because she needed to do something, but turns out she asked me because she thought it was “my job!” I was appalled because for one, it’s not “my job” and it came off like she was too good to take one bag of trash to the back. I also can’t stand that attitude of anyone. Like we’re a team. Just fucking do it if it’s full. No one is “too good” not to do something. All the many times where I took trash out when it was full, I didn’t ask the person that did the cleaning then to do it. Because it’s not a big fucking deal.

lol that reminds me of my office and how i'm the only young guy in my area so i always get forced to move peoples entire offices (Furniture, computer, full standing desks, etc.)

That's not my job. Hire someone else. If anything, it's a liability.

I feel that, I barbacked/trained for 1 year of the 12 I worked at a hotel bar outside boston and carried every single 1/4 and 1/2 keg (never even had a dolly wtf) from the far as shit away fridge even after I was promoted to a bartender, like exclusively as in if I was off two days in a row I'd return to 6 empty taps cuz lazy mf'ers

Dude it's insane. They even commented on sneakers i was wearing saying i need to dress better. It's like, why? I'm sweating the moment i get into the office and you're making me bring stuff up to the 6th floor from the loading dock by myself in 95 degree FL heat :crylaugh:

The worst was when they ordered stand-up desks for whoever wanted them division wide. People who will likely never use them even ordered them just cause they could. We got an order of 100 in one day and the company had left ALL of them on the loading dock which is parking level, 100 yards out of the front door. I had to bring all of them in groups of 4 onto a cart and get them through doors that require a badge to get through, onto an elevator DURING the workday up to the 5th and 6th floors. I didn't even order a standup desk.

The worst part of all that is after I did this, the lady told me she ordered the wrong ones and promptly had me bring all 100 back to the loading dock for pickup. Like, are you fucking kidding me?

Yeahhh they even made me assemble a ton of them once they ordered the correct ones because, for whatever reason, engineers can't?? I don't give a fuck if you're a man or a woman, you should be able to assemble your 10-15lb standup platform after I brought it all the way into your office.

They EXPECT it too. It's wild. I'm a Beaches Grant Specialist.

Yeah, I'm a yes man too but I don't know why because I've got 1 small raise in like 15 years. Everyone says "You need to get a new job for a few years and then they'll pay you WAY more when you come back"

Anyway, I'm lookin' for a new job. I will not be back. :crylaugh:
