i have never once read an email with “friendly reminder” in it and not instantly been mad and petty as hell about it lmao
One of my co workers sees the same thing I do in the girl I’m training. So it wasn’t just me. So we think the girl is just incompetent.
when you're watching something (say a sitcom or a funny movie) with someone that keeps repeating the funny lines right after the character says them
when people you're friends with on social media refer to you as "OP" or otherwise dodge naming you directly in the comment sections, particularly when they're disagreeing with something you had to say - like address me directly or don't say anything at all? always feels so passive aggressive.
The actual questions you overhear thumbing through records in person in a store, ppl getting angry at a 20 something year old retail employee that can't answer their super specific questions about niche merchandise lol 2nd hand cringing to myself
I just heard this exchange at newbury comics "Ma'am can I help you find something?" "Red Hulk" "Huh?" "The Red Incredible Hulk" "...like a toy or, a dvd? Or..." "No as in my son wants a red incredible hulk do you have any? Or is there someone that works here who knows the answer?" -______-
...what do you all prefer to "Fyi" or "just a friendly reminder"? I am very guilty of both and feel bad now
Haha same! Like, if I'm taking tomorrow off at work, I'll just say "friendly reminder that I'm off tomorrow and will be back Friday" or whatever
Honestly for me “just a reminder” or “quick reminder” are totally fine, adding “friendly” makes me interpret the message as smug/condescending for some reason
The girl I’m training pretty much needs ANOTHER week of training. That’ll be 3 and half weeks of training (in top of intern hours she did) and she still can’t pick up simple shit!! Basically I’ll have to do half her job for a while because she just cant pick up and they’re starting her off slow. She also made herself notes and some stuff is wrong *face palm* like did you even do research or ask. i basically have to write her “directions” and “prompts” for her to reference to without me. You shouldn’t need that. Not with how much training she’s received
When you love a band or artist that has nearly 20 shirts on their merch store but like 2 you'd actually wear and there's only youth-large or 4xl of them left in stock
it seems like at least 1-2 days a month my allergies go wild, and today is one of those days. idk whether it's pollen, pet dander or something else entirely but it's fucking relentless
I’m more frustrated at this point. I’m coming to the conclusion that the girl I’m training is just incompetent. She’s getting THREE AND A HALF WEEKS of training while I only got not even ONE week. She can barely get the basics down. She doesn’t listen. She doesn’t make the corrections I tell her and they’re SMALL things. Something that can be easily corrected. She also doesn’t know how to read the schedule! She keeps asking “is it this?” And I have to tell her Um well what does it say. Or she’ll do something that’s Not on the schedule and I tell her “we’re not doing that today” and she says that it says it and I have to tell her no, and tell her what that note meant and she needs to read the appointment not the note. She also keeps disappearing and then I have to do her work otherwise we’re behind. I remind her that I really need her to get comfortable with this because she’ll be on her own soon and she is “I was in the bathroom”. I just can’t.
when every single picture on a person's dating profile includes other people so you have no idea who you're even trying to date
