When people ask why you're being quiet like that's supposed to make you feel more comfortable to talk
The worst, it just makes me hyper-aware of the fact that I’m not saying anything and I shut down even more
I couldn’t find the housekeeping/decorating thread, but does anyone know where I can find reasonably priced area rugs?
This lady at the grocery store had her mask hanging down off her ear. Of course her mask said “TRUMP” *eye roll* and she doesn’t know how to respect space
Tiny cuts that hurt a disproportionate amount. A 5mm wound on the side of my finger nail should not feel like getting stabbed with excalibur when I knock it against something.
Books that have been adapted into a movie and the cover gets changed to feature the actors or the movie
Sorry if this happens to apply to anyone here...But People who post their covid vaccination record on social media. Good for you, but I literally don’t care to see that you got vaccinated. And I don’t see the necessity? (Not sure if I’m using the right word) of everyone posting it. What statement are people trying to make
I don't mind ppl posting their record espesh if they're influential and have impressionable ppl follow them. Even if they don't, it's nice to normalize it. Too many ppl I know are refusing to get the vaccine. The more positive exposure the better. And it appears to work. Dates all the way back to Elvis getting the polio vaccine on tv and rates of vaccination increasing.
I just discovered r/ididnthaveeggs and it fills me with so much joy and annoyance simultaneously. Ppl who butcher recipes and then leave irrelevant reviews. Yesterday I was reading Goodread reviews for a fitness book and the reviewer gave a low rating and was like "I haven't finished it but it doesn't even address MY issue... Unless it does in the part I haven't read yet." Which lol it did address her concern later on in the book. Like whhhy do that?? Don't leave a review then sis!
