When I get turned off on a show/movie/artist because of how others talk about it. The Office is what made me think of this, I really liked the show and probably still do (haven’t seen it in years) but the way people obsess over it now makes me not want to watch it. Probably a dumb contrarian thing but oh well.

 

When people act appalled/offended when there is a shark sighting at a beach or a bear sighting in a wooded neighborhood. Like, it’s where they live YOU are the one invading their space.

This happened big with Rick & Morty. I don’t think there’s a franchise with worse fans and it has definitely impacted my fondness of the show

 

my friend bought me a rick and morty shirt for I think christmas two or three years ago, and it was before the whole Szechuan sauce thing. I was like damn I really can't force myself to wear this shirt anymore after that lol.

I had a dream / thought while in a close-to dream/ wake state that I thought was super intelligent and funny. The kind of thing where if I had a Twitter account And some followers it could go big. I’ve had that type of thought maybe twice in my life and I cannot remember any part of what the joke / thought was, just that it was really good lmao

 

Inviting friends over to grill with a time, they say on their way and well over an hour later still not showing

 

i haaaaaate the "i'm 5 minutes away!" / "i'm super close!" update. especially when they give it 7-8 times before arriving.
