I’ve had the exact opposite experience. Need a night guard but insurance won’t cover it, I clench my teeth like crazy in my sleep.

Also the fact that dental and eye insurance don’t just fall under health insurance is infuriating

my dental didn't cover my wisdom teeth removal because I didn't read the fine print and get a better plan, and yeah teeth are body bones

Yeah it really makes no God damn sense and I feel terrible for people I know on Medicaid who have had no dental coverage under emergency situations. I know people who have had to get teeth pulled because they couldn't afford a root canal.

I haven’t been to a dentist or eye doctor in years bc I don’t have dental/vision insurance. Also absolutely terrified to see how much insurance is gonna cost bc I get it through the ACA. The cheapest insurance through my job is almost $700 for just me and isn’t even good! That’s more than my mortgage payment lol definitely can’t afford that!!

    right on! Prestigious

I haven’t been to a dentist in over 10 years and after I finally made an appointment this month, I had to cancel bc it was a nightmare trying to figure out what my insurance would actually cover. Great country we have here

Don’t look at the night guard as “optional”. It helps with occlusal wear of your teeth. Especially if you’re a heavy bruxer. I’ve seen people whose teeth are ground down so much. Grinding also causes gum recession. Also not every plan has night guard coverage, and if it does it’s not always at 100%. Dental ins has other “weird” things like a missing tooth clause, waiting periods for restorative and major work before your ins covers a portion. I can go on. lol

When I think something is charging for a while but it's slightly off the cord or something and wasn't charging at all. Enough to make me rage
