It’s just very vague and idk what any of it means. Like I need a processor that is “13 or better or AMD K4 or above” but everything has weird names like AMD Ryzan so idk??? wtf does that mean???? And I just looked at what’s in stock at my local Best Buy and it’s all over $500. I am not paid enough to be spending this kind of money!!!

I’ve never found a single company that does and I’ve been in the same field for like 15 years. It’s bullshit. They all say it’s bc we work from home but plenty of other jobs provide their employees who work from home computers. I regret my decision to go into this field basically every day trust me lol but I didn’t go to college and have like no skills so have never been able to find anything better so here I am!

My bf loves YouTube videos and I think he gets a sense of connection which I appreciate and support... For him. I don't get it personally. We'll watch a movie and then he wants to watch someone on YouTube basically recap the movie with just a few bits of opinion. I don't see the point. I just saw it myself, I don't need a recap. It'd be one thing if they went into symbolism or deeper meaning I may have missed. Which sometimes they do, but usually it's 99% recap. He feels a sense of connection almost like discussing it with a friend. He always wants me to watch these long recap videos after and I'm like God please noooo

 

and it's always like how do you tell someone without being an asshole that what brings them joy causes you physical pain lol, why is this person yelling

 

I get both sides

 

watching a review or discussion of a movie is one thing but a straight up recap is weird.

 

Some YouTubers do weird reaction videos where it's just them sitting on the couch staring at the movie the whole time and then they say their thoughts at the end. Sometimes I watch those but just skip to the end where the discuss it. Idk why anyone would want to watch people sitting at a couch watching a show or movie lol

 

I realized recently that people's YouTube preferences are very personal and should not be pushed on others. Like sharing funny videos is great, but I don't want to see most the shit others watch and I'm sure it's the same with what I throw on.

 

I like this guy that pours molten aluminum in fire ants nests underground to make statues and stuff, does that interest you

I don't watch YouTube much but I enjoy stalking Zillow listings to judge peoples homes and peruse subreddits about whether certain outfits are appropriate to wear to a wedding (people have a LOT of opinions on this) so no judgement here!

I got Starbucks on my way to work today for the first time in a while. I remember why I don’t get coffee from there much anymore

 

Dude in a smol pp truck was singling me to go, but I had my turn signal on and couldn’t turn bc his smol pp truck was in the way. These guys have such a short temper

 

After my earlier post about Starbucks, I stopped at Wawa this morning for the first time in a month for coffee on my way to work. Forgot how good their coffee is. I'll be stopping there for the foreseeable future unless my wife wants a London Fog.

 

I go to YouTube to look for or watch specific things, but I can't imagine just sitting there and letting their algorithm just feed me increasingly inane videos. Idk, I guess I'm just old.
