It's unreasonable but it annoys me when my mom specifically reacts to my texts. Like how you can react with emojis. It doesn't bother me when anyone else does it. Idk why it's annoying when my mom does it but it is and sometimes I pick a group chat thread without her in it just because I know she'll do the !! Reaction. Maybe because she reacts excessively? Idk I don't make the rules I just know it's annoying

 

I get so many thumbs ups from my mom and Grandma

connecting with loved ones is so fun

 

Since I've posted that my mom has !! To several more texts, all of which have been mundane LMAO. I think she feels like it's polite to !! If she doesn't have enough to say to respond with words.

 

My old roommate would end all his texts with ellipses and it would drive me crazy for some reason.

 

My mom’s texts drive me insane, especially the “ok” and the “oh.”

She also texted me today to say my uncle was diagnosed with cancer and she randomly ended the text with, “have you done your taxes yet?” Literally unhinged, haha. Also, I’m 36 years old! I got this, mom!

(I have not done my taxes yet.)

 

My dad just loves to end every conversation with a thumbs up emoji. That's his way of saying "ok we're done here"

 

I have coworkers that do this and the only thing that maybe makes sense is that some of them do voice to text and if there is a pause it automatically adds it? Idk if that’s true but it totally clashes with the words by the tone it leaves.

Total first world problem and maybe even a storyline from an episode of Seinfeld but it annoys the shit out of me how my stepdad prepares certain foods.

example: sloppy joes or an egg salad sandwich. He loads up the bun or bread with like 3” tall of the sloppy Joe or egg salad and I’m internally screaming “get another bun or piece of bread!” like, the ratio of bun/main layer to the contents on top are super out of wack. It’s not even that here’s taking a lot of the food - if he’d take that same amount of contents but put it on two buns or whatever that’s fine, it’s literally just how it looks uneven that irritates me lol

 

I think it's just their version of the millennial lol but instead of making things non-threatening, everything seems so passive-agressive.

Also when I buy concert tickets months in advance and then it rolls around and I don't feel like going anymore. I know I'll enjoy it when I go, but ugggh past Kiana was really more excited than present Kiana, who as it turns out, is very tired and concerts are a lot of work and energy.

I have about 25k on my car too. Someone hit the back driver side in my apts a few months ago. They didn’t have cameras there at the time. Just my luck. Not sent but large paint chips. I’m very careful in how I wash my car too. I use the 2 bucket system and microfiber sponges/ towels to clean it

 

I really should hand wash my car. Problem is I don't really have access to a hose at my apartment which is annoying. I used to wash my car by hand and change my oil in my parents' driveway

 

God this has been happening to me a lot. I get so excited and instantly buy a ticket, only for the week of the show to arrive and I think “well, do I actually wanna go?”

But I go and have a blast

I go to my dad’s to wash my car. Apts should have a car washing station. A complex a friend use to live in has one. There is a couple places near me to wash it yourself but you’re paying for their soap and water. I’ve thought about brining my own supplies and buckets to those.

 

Every time I shop at Walmart I have to call my banks fraud department bc it tries to charge me twice. It happens every time and only at Walmart. The person working self checkout said it happens to everyone who uses the credit union I use. You’d think they’d figure out the issue but it’s been like a year and still happens.

 

That's... Very bizarre. I would personally start looking for a new credit union, that's ridiculous

 

I keep singing “waiting for godot! ooohhh!” to the tune of JLo’s Waiting For Tonight, it was a stupid bit to begin with and now I can’t stop lol. I don’t even know where it came from, I just woke up with it in my head. What the fuck was I dreaming about

 

I found a starch on the bottom back side of my steering wheel. I felt something rough and it was a scratch! Something must of caught on it getting in/out of my car. I wonder if I can polish it away to smooth it. I never got a cover for it bc there’s steering wheel warmers and I didn’t want the hassle of removing it during the winter
