I’ve never liked Waze. I used it once and it wasn’t helpful, so I never used it again.

I’m not sure if they fixed this, but the thing that was a dealbreaker for me was that it wouldn’t reroute you if you made a wrong turn or if something else happened. It would just continue giving you the standard directions like nothing happened.

 

I’ve never used Waze simply because the name annoys me. Truly a tiny thing.

maybe I’m dumb as shit but I’ve never had any app/GPS thing reroute me. Idk if it’s a setting I need to turn on or what but whether it’s Waze, Apple Maps, Garmin, etc. if I run into a closure and actual detour signs aren’t up or whatever, I always just get directions to get me back to that main route. Most don’t even give an option to notify the app that the road is closed and I need to take a new route.

A few years ago I was driving back from Tennessee, and after 10+ hours of driving, at like 2 am in Chicago the highway was randomly closed and it took me forever to figure out how to get back on the highway after the closure because the app just kept telling me to get back on where I got off the highway. That was a very frustrating and terrifying 25 minutes completely lost driving through random neighborhoods in the middle of the night lol

 

That’s me with standard Google maps. Its routed me in a completely different direction and took me to a different destination each time, so I’m against it- was never helpful to me. I’ve never had issues with Waze before. Its re routed me, and taken me around traffic which was nice. It will also give me the option to change my route in the middle of it to a faster one if needed

 

That’s odd because Google Maps for me does everything you just described lol. I find them to be the most reliable

Way back when I downloaded the Bert and Ernie voice options. Never drive so much in my life, was a hoot to hear them lead the way and usually pretty funny and varied in how mad Bert would get when I missed the directions

 

I always use Google maps and usually it steers me well but once in a while it won't realize I'm walking and it will have a meltdown

 

Bought a bunch of running tanks from an outlet store/warehouse that usually has normal sizing but allllllllll of these are, imo, not what I would consider a “large” lol so they now have to be used as early morning or late night running tanks until I lose about 10-15 pounds because these are a biiiiiit too snug to feel comfortable wearing in public lol

 

Hmmm weird, I've been using Waze for years and it has never done that to me

 

Trying to find a new place to rent. Every place is either overpriced or a scam listing.

 

Someone telling you theyll do something and not fucking do it. Fuuuuuuuuck this is annoying as hell

 

Leasing leaving a note on my door with two days notice that they have planned work to install a new water heater in my closet and to clear out my personal belongings. I worked from home yesterday so I didn't see it until today. Just really annoying when it's something they clearly planned ahead of time and I have errands to do after work before trying to move a bunch of heavy boxes, Christmas decorations, and my cats litter box out of the closet

 

It rains every fucking weekend!!! I make plans to go places but it’s always outdoors and it always rains so plans get canceled. I have all this yard work that needs done but every day off I have it rains all day. Of course it’s always beautiful outside the days I’m working though!

When stores temporarily move shit to a display in a different area than the rest of similar products.

was at the store looking for a certain brand of chips and the spot where they are in the chip aisle is completely empty because they moved them all to a display somewhere else in the store. Either get enough to fill both spots or at least leave some in the normal spot where most people will look for them

 

The app that unlocks the door to my apartment wasn’t working for a few minutes lmao

 

Uhh how does that work during a power outage

 

I think it has its own battery not connected to the main electricity? Idk I haven’t had an outage yet

 

Just give me a metal key. I'm so sick of key fobs and apps and smart locks and all that bullshit.

 

Same with touch screens. I don't need a touch screen that dials in the exact tenth of a degree my AC is blowing at. Just give me two knobs. One that goes from blue to red and another from min to max.

and to make it worse, one of the people in this zoom meeting is speaking out an email he's writing while 2 other people are talking over each other.

 

we’re remote right now for an office renovation but once the nightmare starts again and we’re back in the office I can’t wait to hang this guy up and listen to the pandemonium it creates
