The fact that Walmart doesn’t have baskets. Just carts. I look like a fool walking around just carrying some almond milk and a loaf of Ezekiel
Hate this with Aldi too. I just put stuff in my reusable bag, but I don't think they'd like that at Walmart.
I tried shopping with just a reusable bag at H Mart and they were like you need to use a basket and handed me one, that must be why Michelle was crying there
We're able to wear jeans to the office in Summer, they usually start in like April and go to Halloween, so it's actually like 7 months out of the year, which I'm like if we can do it that long, just make it permanent. They didn't send out an announcement after Halloween that we couldn't anymore so people just continued. I just heard someone ask an exec, when we're going back to business casual, and I'm like wtf? Why would you even mention it if they forgot? I told them they're like the kid who reminds the teacher they didn't assign homework before class ends.
Death to dress codes and requiring cameras to be on for Teams calls when it’s very pointless. On a cal today my manager says, “Marsupial, you’re cameras not on” and I just said “yeah” and went back on mute with my camera off until someone else started the meeting lol. Best part is that all of us on the call were in the same fucking office because we “need to be onsite 2-3 days a week for team building” but then the dipshit who set up the meeting didn’t feel like booking a conference room so we all sat at our desks or in our offices while being 30 feet apart in the same building. Brilliant. You wanna be stupid, go ahead. And since I didn’t have fuck all to do with the meeting there’s no reason for me to be there let alone have my camera on.
Several times when I was poor working retail they tried to institute, or, more often start enforcing dress code, and I'd be like I need a raise if you want me to go buy new clothes which they would balk at and I'd just continue wearing what I usually would.
Be careful, my friend started wearing women's shoes and then started walking like a women which gathered unwanted attention.
I’m pretty grateful for the fact my bosses are pretty chill and don’t have a dress code for our company. I love being able to wear my regular clothes to the office
My company just revised the dress code for our office. Starting next month, knit caps and baseball caps aren’t allowed, which are the styles of hat I wear the most Other hats are still allowed, so I guess I can either dress like Blossom or finally start brushing my hair
Over my 9 years at my company, we've gone from business casual, to casual Fridays, to jeans every day but you can't wear sneakers or t shirts, to "wear whatever the hell you want as long as it isn't offensive". I still feel like I'm doing something wrong when I wear a hat or shorts to the office
I have an Akubra sombrero, it illegal to ban it because it protects my skin from the sun and supports local industry
Be careful what you wish for, my former actual nazi employer told me to get some nice new clothes and picked up the tab and it actually made me feel horrible about myself lol
I went to the optometrist today and it turns out my prescription only changed in my right eye and my left is still the same. I’ve gone my whole life having the same prescription in both eyes. This is gonna drive me crazy
Cravings. I chose to give up soda as a New Year's resolution and while I feel it's the right call for me, it's really been testing my will.
I didn’t realize buying cetaphil lotion from Costco is basically 2 for the price of 1. Also idk why I never used it before. Unless they changed the ingredients and before I didn’t like what was in it. Also the one I got from target had “sensitive skin” labeled on it. The only one i saw that had that label. Also costcos does not
It took kidney stones for me to kick Diet Coke and I still occasionally have one as a treat so I get it
Crying with a mask on. I had to change mine like four times in 20 mins this morning bc they kept getting filled with tears and snot
My apts still haven’t came by to fix my dishwasher. They’re really bad about work orders. I have to call the office to say “hey is this going to get fixed. It’s been a few days”.
