I have a neighbor that always leaf-blows or mows the lawn after dark, like 9pm. Thought he was a vampire but it's worse. He's a city councilman

 

Wtf I'm not even allowed to vacuum in my apartment after like 8 or 9 haha

 

The sound proofing in my apartment is beautiful. I play electric guitar out of my amp at 10pm sometimes and you can’t hear anything outside

 

I can literally hear my neighbors talking at regular volume through my walls lmao. It's muffled so I can't hear the words, but still

my cat has another rodent ulcer on his lip. Luckily I have some medication left over from last time (they gave me more than I needed I guessed bc I gave him the whole dosage) so that saves me a trip to the vet

 

I am in the top two worst pains of my life right now and this is from someone who has snapped both bones in half in my forearm, fractured both arms, sprained my foot, etc.

Thought I just had normal muscle strain pain under my shoulder blade from fixing my bed riser that got crushed by the leg of my bed, and was doing fine the first few days, but now it's just getting worse and worse every day and now it kills to lay on my back, sit up, turn my neck more than a couple inches... But I know the ER near me is completely backed up and that for back issues, they're just gonna tell me to see a specialist up the road from me tomorrow anyways, so I might as well wait to call them in the morning. They're great for same day appointments, I've been there for other back issues and my sprained ankle

But damn. Can't drive. Can't go do laundry. Gonna have to burn through my recently acquired time off at work. Sucks. I would rather fracture my elbow on my dominant arm again than this. Ibuprofen is doing nothing. Just want a stronger pain killer and a muscle relaxer or something... Really hope I don't need surgery

 

There are four bands I want to see for the first time, but they never tour in America, or at least anywhere near me.

 

Food delivery prices are fucking crazy. We never use the apps, but I got a 50% offer from Uber Eats and wanted to do something easy tonight. Was going to be $35 for one bowl and one stack from Moe's because even after the discount, the delivery fee and taxes were $13. Could not bring myself to pull the trigger on that

 

I am so sick of how quickly the battery in my phone drains. I swear, every iPhone I’ve owned has done this. I do everything possible to preserve battery life and it still goes super quick. I’m at a point where I have to charge my phone at least twice a day

 

yeah hate that I have to buy a new phone every 2 or 3 years because of planned obsolescence, like everything else will work fine but a new battery is the same price as a refurbished phone lol, it cost me over $100 to change the charging port

 

I paid $24 today for an $8.99 bottle of Aleve on Doordash because I can't physically drive. Didn't feel good approving that purchase haha. Thank God I was able to cover most of it with my HSA.

 

Yeah at this point I might just need to upgrade to a new phone. I was gonna swap the battery out with a new one at a phone repair place near me, but they didn’t have the battery my phone needed and never got back to me about getting it back in stock…

 

I spaced out and never put in the work order for my dishwasher. I needed to run it so I was going to do this one time and now it’s not starting. It keeps sounding like it’s trying to start but nothing happens. And I tried restarting it several times. I went into a depressive mode this weekend so my apt is not clean and I’d like to tidy it a bit before I let maintenance come by

 

The passive aggressive nature of people with carts at Aldi. Like no, honey, I don’t care if you take the cart because it’s literally a quarter and I’d rather someone use the cart than getting the quarter back.

very true. I was speaking more about getting like 2 beers for myself, 2 beers for my wife, and that costing over $60.

But if they were cheaper I could see that being an issue

 

For the last few months, my body/mind just wakes up at 3 AM almost every morning. Usually I can fall back to sleep fairly quick. But it is after 5 now and I’m still awake, and I have work in an hour. The worsttttttuhhhh!

 

My work now wants people to give 3month notice for time off. I’m sorry wtf. That’s excessive. I understand at least a month, but cmon. Things come up. Don’t get paid enough anyway (I’ve in the process of of looking for a new job)
