I thought I only had very little grey hair on the sides (that has been there since my teens) but it turns out, post hair transplant, I ended up with some on the widow’s peak. Kinda freaked out once it started growing out. I only turn 30 in a few months but who knows, perhaps I’d welcome that color further down the line.

A while back I remember seeing a photo of Marina and the Diamonds with her non dyed, grey hair and it made me feel better as well.

 

The other week I got carded at a brewery and my sister who is 4 years younger than me did not lol

 

One time I got carded at the movies. I was seeing Spirited Away lmao My regal just requires anyone under 17 to be accompanied by an adult after I think 6 pm. The cop made me show him my ID then proceeded to hit on me. I’d rather spend the rest of my life alone than date a cop so I was very annoyed by the whole interaction lol

When you’re trying to get something done, but different stuff keeps coming up that prevents you from doing it

 

I’m starting to get sick. Thinking about calling off of work tomorrow. I have meds that made me feel better yesterday and I took them again. I only have 10 tabs and the pharmacy limits how much you can buy in 30 days

 

I hope I can keep my hair long enough to go grey, I want to go full Gandalf when I’m older

 

I was supposed to go back to work tomorrow, but I got word from my bosses that the plumbing at my office is fucked up so now I have tomorrow off too.

I’m stoked that I get an extra day off on my holiday break, but it’s kind of pointless that I’m only going to work one day this week

Got engaged back in May and we truly thought after that happened both sets of parents would come to us and tell us what they're willing/able to contribute to the wedding, but that never happened. We don't expect much, and if it's literally nothing then that's fine, but we'd just like to know so we can make a realistic budget and continue planning. We feel tacky straight up asking, but I guess that's exactly what we have to do since we need to start booking everything ASAP.

 

I would think if they aren't saying anything, they arent paying, but maybe that's just my family lmao. Neither of them offered to pay for mine or my sister's weddings

 

Absolutely wrecked these muscles replacing a bed riser that one of the legs of my bed crushed and went through, and adjusting the height of my desk legs like three days ago (it's a 150-200 lb electric standing desk). Hasn't gotten any better. Ugh.

Why did I wait until after my ex moved out to attempt these things??

 

When my wife and I got married, we just had to approach my family and ask them. They were more than happy to help, but we had to come to them first. We felt awkward doing it, but we just had to pull the band-aid off

 

my sister got engaged in August for a wedding this August and my parents and her fiance's parents discussed that shit pronto lol, it's also gonna be bougie so it had to be locked down quick

 

Right? Seems logical lol. I ended up talking to them today and they told me what they were planning which is more than fair, I just expected them and my fiance's parents to start the conversation with us. Same thing happened with our engagement party, eventually we were like, I guess we're planning it for ourselves.

 

It should be a crime to have to work this week

My sister is a high school teacher and they started going back to school yesterday. Seems dumb as hell just to make students come in 2 days after a holiday

Really praying the snow and roads don't interfere with my joint-30th birthday plans tonight. Had to be very specific about when we scheduled them for because the baby is due like, the same week of my actual birthday and we're about a month out

 

In theory I like “warming up” to work with two days and then the weekend vs going back to a full fucking 5-day work week after having 10+ days off but yesterday and today still suck significantly. Down to less than 4 hours and working from home today and still could not give less of a shit and have no motivation which means I’ll suffer on Monday and wonder why I was a whiny wiener today that couldn’t get anything done. Cycle of life for me for the last… 10 months or so lol

 

Tbh I’m actually ok with work today now. I was able to catch up on stuff so my Monday won’t be a mega buttram

 

My neighbor decided to use his snowblower at 5 a.m. today. It’s very noisy and my bedroom is right by their driveway so I got woken up. He didn’t even need to go anywhere!! He just went back inside!! It’s one thing if you need to clear it bc you have to go to work. But he doesn’t even work today!! Just wait until like 8 or something!
