I'm not good with phones. I lose them and I drop them. I don't use a case because it feels really good in my pocket. I sort by lowest price and choose the best colour that will operate YouTube Premium, back up my photos automatically to drop box and buy a new one every six months. My current velvet red Nokia loses connection to one half my Bose noise cancelling ear bud pair once every half an hour or so. It's not a big deal I just have you tap it 4 times, one double tap to turn noise cancelling off and regain connection and then another double tap to turn noise cancelling back on. I know its a problem with the phone and not the buds because this doesn't happen on any of the other devices I connect my Bose noise cancelling earbuds to. I hate it and can't wait to drop this piece of shit. It's been 18 months of pain. Why won't you die. Last week I stepped out of my car and dropped it screen first on the road. Nothing. Not a scratch. I know I can't replace it until it dies a natural death, if I buy a new phone before that occurs I will immediately drop the replacement smashing it beyond repair because that is the kind of world we live in and I need to respect that and I do but I hate it.
I have my apartment heat set a little above 70…but it’s been 61. The office isn’t any help at all and says it’s just the windows are off track and can’t be fixed. I wake up freezing and go to bed freezing. I’m scared I’ll wake up and it will be in the 50’s in my bedroom.
Bad insulation. I lived in an apartment back in college that got hot AF like 99+ if you didn’t have the A/C on and I remember it getting 47 at the coldest in the winter. Also the ac/heater sucked and they changed the filter but I think it needed a whole new unit. Miserable. I still live in the same area (like 20-30min away but the temps are the same). I don’t have the heat on and the coldest it’s gotten was 67
Yepp. It was definitely like 20x more painful when I had COVID, so I can deal with it haha but definitely annoying
Thanks! Took a good nap in the recliner, now just lounging in it with the cat in a comfy blanket. Very cozy.
I told someone to get off on a certain bus stop but right after they did, I forgot there was a stop that was closer and now I feel like a jerk and will be thinking about it forever
That’s okay I ran into someone I used to work with today and forgot their name but they knew mine and I just kinda avoided saying theirs and then I remembered it like 10 minutes later and I’ll think about it until I die.
Last month the girl I was doing ketamine with was upset I didn't know her name and I was like you literally never told me your name. Later I found out her name but it was too Irish for me too pronounce because I had done too much ketamine.
I got a bomber jacket from Gap last month that I absolutely love. On Sunday my wife and I went out for dinner and I accidentally got a little salad dressing on it. I’ve spent the past two days trying to get the stain out and it will not come out no matter what I do. sigh
Hulu does this annoying thing where they have playlists of holiday episodes of different shows. But when you play them, it’ll go on autoplay and play the next episode of that show’s season instead of the next holiday episode in the playlist. So once the episode is done, you have to exit and then manually choose the next episode. I’m just trying to watch my yearly Frasier Christmas episode marathon, man. Make it easy for me Hulu!
When I'm running or jogging and my shoelace comes untied. Often I'm trying for certain times intervals of jogging and walking alternating so the lil rage of fury I get when my shoelace comes untied and tries off the timing is unparalleled lol espesh if I checked them beforehand
People who act shitty when others act positive and happy to them. If they’re faking it, you can too honey
Pretending to be nice is the second best option behind being genuinely nice and in some sense more admirable to do so when you don't feel like it.
That the only streaming app I couldn't activate on my new smart tv was Disney+, and it took me forever to figure out that I had to manually update it after it was already just installed to get it to work.
