I cashed in my points at Ulta for my toothbrush lol Bless Ulta and their reward system! I always use them for things I’m either too cheap to buy or too poor to afford on my own.
Aaron if times are tough you can post a video of yourself brushing and we will post smilies if you did a good job.
I don't skimp on toothbrushes out of fear of my parents kicking my ass for wasting the $5k+ they dropped on my braces like 20 years ago
It was brutal. And being a kid, it ripped out one of my fucking baby teeth when they took it out And then when I got it and my braces off, they decided it wasn't quite right and gave me a retainer that also had an expander in it to turn with a key
It really is annoying heh. I'm like really paranoid about it and am always like.. testing my bite to check if it still feels like the same teeth are still able to bite down on each other the same way they have been? Idk. Weird subconscious habit at this point
Even more annoying though is the fact that I've developed some minor form of TMJ and my jaw is constantly popping out slightly
Yeah I keep thinking they’re shifting more but I don’t think they actually are. I also had to wear headgear at home for like 6 months and the dude said I was maybe going to have to wear it to school and I told him there is no fucking way that’s happening.
You originally had a fixed expander that’s cemented in. used in cases where they start expansion at the time of bracketing. I hate them because they get in the way of X-rays. The second one you had is a removable expander (so it sounds) and it’s it does look like a retainer and can be used as one after treatment
I made gingerbread cookies and I remember why I never bake lol my kitchen is awful. I have one little bit of countertop so I’m trying to roll out the dough. Then one batch is done but I only have that little bit of countertop so I have no where to let the cookies cool so it just is an absolute nightmare. Then I’m trying to move the cookies while they are still warm just to free up space so then the cookies are breaking off on the little gingerbread arms. They taste great but good god they are a disaster lol my oven is also older than me so even though I made sure all the cookies were the same thickness they were all baking different even on the same tray. No more baking from now on lol
My work recently moved to a new HR platform that does exactly this. I sign in and then get texted a six-digit code for additional security Kind of annoying. But I mean, if it means my account is more secure, then fine I guess?
I dont have a code emailed to me at work, but I do have the Microsoft authenticator app pop up on my phone and it asks me to type a 2 digit number that appears on my laptop screen for certain things
I don't mind 2FA/MFA and use it everywhere I can and recommend that everyone does. I was just referring to sites that rather than ask for the password that I have, they email me a code. I guess it'd be less annoying if I didn't utilize a password manager but it's like, I already have the password on my clipboard, I'd rather not have to open my email just to log in.
